FORT MYERS, Fla. — The Florida Gulf Coast University volleyball team will host its final home regular-season match Sunday at 1 p.m. against Bellarmine. FGCU volleyball will honor its four seniors;
Barbara Koehler,
Iyanna Battle,
Alona Clinansmith, and
Hanna Borer for Senior Day before the start of the match.
The Eagles (15-8, 9-3 ASUN) own a 5-0 series advantage over Bellarmine (14-13, 5-8 ASUN) and delivered a 3-0 sweep on Nov. 9 in Fort Myers.
FGCU (15-8, 9-3 ASUN) is coming off a thrilling 3-2 victory at West Georgia on Sunday, while Bellarmine fell 3-0 at EKU on Friday. The Green & Blue is currently second in the Atlantic Sun Conference behind Eastern Kentucky, Central Arkansas, and Jacksonville, who are all tied for first place.
FGCU ranks second in the league in both points and kills. Individually,
Erica Muhizi leads the league with 93 blocks, and
Eliska Vytiskova is second in aces with 39 for the season.
