FORT MYERS, Fla. – Florida Gulf Coast women's soccer senior midfielder
Erika Zschuppe and freshman goalkeeper
Madara Matrevica each earned an ASUN weekly honor, the conference announced Monday.
Zschuppe, the ASUN Player of the Week, extended her margin as the ASUN goals leader with six on the week. She posted a brace against Jacksonville and a first half hat trick against North Florida, capped off by a fourth goal in the second half against the Ospreys.
The Kirtland, Ohio, native is tied for first in the NCAA with 14 goals on the season. Zschuppe's scores on the week gave her five consecutive games with a goal dating back to Sept. 11. That mark is tied for the longest active goal scoring streak in the NCAA with Pepperdine's Julia Quinonez and Notre Dame's Izzy Engle.
She is also tied for the overall longest goal scoring streak in the NCAA this season (seven such occurrences in 2025, including Zschuppe), but Zschuppe's ten goals during that span are the most by any of the seven individuals who have accomplished that feat, surpassing Colorado's Hope Leyba, who had nine goals in five games.
Matrevica, the ASUN Goalkeeper of the Week, collected a pair of shutout wins and eight saves on the week to help propel FGCU into the Graphite Division lead. The freshman netminder had a penalty kick save as one of her seven against Jacksonville, and added a save against North Florida.
