FORT MYERS, Fla. — The Florida Gulf Coast University volleyball team will close its five-match homestand this weekend, hosting North Florida on Friday at 6 p.m. and Jacksonville on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Alico Arena.
Fans are encouraged to dress in their favorite Halloween costumes for Sunday's match against the Dolphins.
The Eagles (12–7, 6–2 ASUN) meet the Ospreys (8–13, 2–6 ASUN) for the 45th time, leading the all-time series 35–9. FGCU swept North Florida 3–0 in their most recent meeting on Nov. 14, 2024, in Fort Myers.
FGCU also holds a 32–12 record against Jacksonville (17–3, 8–0 ASUN), which enters the weekend as the only undefeated team in conference play and riding a nine-match win streak. The Eagles earned a 3–0 sweep over the Dolphins in their last matchup on Nov. 16, 2024.
The Green and Blue enter the weekend coming off a 3–2 victory over FIU on Tuesday. North Florida dropped a 3–1 decision at home Saturday, while Jacksonville swept Eastern Kentucky 3–0.
