FORT MYERS, Fla. — 
Izzy Ackley and 
Alexandra Andueza were named the Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Swimmer and Diver of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.
Both Eagles had great outings at the Eagle Invitational, which took place on October 10-11 from the FGCU Aquatics Complex.
Ackley delivered an outstanding performance, taking first place in the 100 fly, 100 back, 100 IM, and 200 back. In the 100 back, her impressive time of 51.92 qualified for the NCAA Championships and currently ranks as the seventh-fastest time in the nation. She set a new school record in the 100 IM with a time of 55.37, which also stands as the fastest time in the country. Ackley continued her record-breaking streak in the 200 back, finishing in 1:53.44, an NCAA qualification mark, a new school record, and the fourth-fastest time nationally. In addition to her individual success, she helped her team to victory in both the 200 and 400 medley relays and secured a second-place finish in the 200 free relay.
Andueza secured first place in both the 3m and 1m dives. In the 3m dive, she finished with a zone qualifying score of 316.20. Then followed that up with a zone qualifying score of 273.40 in the 1m dive.
The Eagles have a month off from competition before heading to Houston, Texas from Nov. 19-21 to take part in the Phill Hansel Invitational.
