FORT MYERS, Fla. – Florida Gulf Coast University women's tennis team announced its 2024-25 schedule Thursday.
The Eagles will kick off the fall season by hosting the Bedford Cup at the FGCU Tennis Complex from Sept. 27-29. Barry University will make the visit to the City of Palms for a scrimmage match against the Green & Blue Oct. 25.
FGCU will then make the short commute to Bonita Springs for the Bonita Springs Collegiate Classic, set to take place from Nov. 8-10.

The Green & Blue get the spring started by hosting Middle Tennesee State Jan. 17, followed by Big Ten Conference member Minnesota Jan. 18. The Eagles will battle Columbia Jan. 20. The Lions were ranked No. 45 in the latest version of the 2024 ITA polls.
The Eagles will then head to the Peach State Jan. 24 to take on Mercer before heading to Georgia Southern the next day. The Green & Blue will return home for an eight-match home stand beginning with Florida Atlantic on Jan. 31.
Florida rival USF will make the commute down Feb. 7. The Bulls finished ranked 64th in last year's polls. Barry returns for another exhibition Feb.14 and the Eagles will take a two-week break before taking on Yale Feb. 28.
The Eagles begin the month of March by hosting Sun Belt Conference member South Alabama on March 1. St. John's will be the next opponent March 4 before the Eagles get underway with Atlantic Sun Conference action March 6 by hosting Bellarmine. The Green & Blue will close out the home stand by battling the 2024 ASUN champions Stetson on March 11.
FGCU will head to Central Arkansas March 14 before returning home to the Sunshine State to battle Queens on March 21 and Eastern Kentucky March 23.
The Eagles hit the road for three consecutive road matches, first stopping at Lipscomb in Nashville, Tennessee March 28, then UNA in Florence, Alabama, March 30 and will close out road action at North Florida April 4.
The Eagles will return home for its final regular season match March 13, taking on Austin Peay. The ASUN Championships will be hosted by UNF from April 18-20 in Jacksonville, Florida.
The Eagles ended last season with a 14-10 overall record while going 7-3 in league action, advancing to the championship match.
