FORT MYERS, Fla. — Florida Gulf Coast University volleyball returns home to continue Atlantic Sun Conference action by facing off against Queens University of Charlotte Saturday at 11 a.m. and West Georgia Sunday at 1 p.m.
The Eagles' match against Queens (3-8) was originally scheduled for Friday but was postponed due to travel and safety concerns stemming from Hurricane Helene.
There will be live stats of the match and live stream will be available at ESPN+.
This will be FGCU's fourth matchup against the Royals. The Eagles have dominated the series, holding a 3-0 advantage over the Royals. FGCU (9-3, 1-0 ASUN) was victorious in last season's final meeting, sweeping Queens 3-0 Nov. 4, 2023, in Fort Myers.
The Green & Blue will battle West Georgia for the first time in program history Sunday. West Georgia (7-5) is in its first year of transition from NCAA Division II to D-I.
The Eagles are coming off a 3-0 victory at Stetson on Tuesday where they opened league play.
Skylar English had a double-double with 13 kills and 11 digs, with
Shelby Kent collecting a match-high 17 kills.
Queens fell 3-0 on Saturday versus ETSU while the Wolves delivered a 3-0 victory against Idaho last Friday.
