Nikki Gibson etched two singles into her season total in a 2-for-3 outing against ACC foe Louisville in what ended up as a 7-0 loss.
In the final game of the opening tournament of the season,
Angelina Bonilla took the mound for her first start of the season. Bonilla went three full innings, giving up two runs capping a stellar weekend where she pitched 12 innings, recorded 14 strikeouts, had a 1.00 WHIP and 1.17 ERA.
Two Eagles worked the count for multi-walk games.
Annalyn Duncan made the pitcher work to the tune of a seven pitch walk in the second and an eight pitch walk in the fourth. In each instance, Duncan fouled off every strike thrown her way. On the day, Duncan did not have a strike go by her.
Kayleigh Roper earned a walk in the first on four pitches and in the fifth on six pitches.
