FORT MYERS, Fla. -- After delivering a 3-0 week at home, Florida Gulf Coast University volleyball hits the road for two Atlantic Sun Conference matches starting Friday. The Eagles will first visit Lipscomb in Nashville, Tennessee, at 7 p.m. before taking on Austin Peay in Clarksville on Saturday at 8 p.m.

There will be live stats and live stream on ESPN+ available for both matches. 

This will be FGCU's 34th match up against the Bisons (10-9, 7-1 ASUN) and Lipscomb narrowly leads the series 17-16, but the Eagles have suffered only one loss in their last 12 meetings.

This will be only the third matchup between FGCU and the Governors with the Eagles (16-4, 8-1 ASUN) leading the series 2-0. The Green & Blue defeated Austin Peay (1-18, 0-8 ASUN) 3-0 on Oct.13, 2023 in Alico Arena.

FGCU is coming off a perfect 3-0 week after sweeping Stetson for a second time this season and delivering a 3-1 victory against North Alabama on Friday. The Green & Blue then became the first ASUN team this season to defeat Central Arkansas after delivering a 3-1 win Sunday.

Raegan Richardson was named this week's ASUN Freshman of the Week after she had 18 assists, three aces and four digs against the Hatters on Friday and then delivered 19 assists with three aces and 10 digs for a double-double.

Skylar English took home ASUN Player of the Week for the first time in her career after delivering a total of 42 kills, 28 digs, nine aces and eight blocks as she helped the Eagles to a 3-0 week. Versus Stetson, she registered 18 kills off 36 swings with a .500 attacking percentage.

Lipscomb is coming off a 3-0 victory at Jacksonville on Saturday and APSU fell 3-1 at UNF.
