FORT MYERS, Fla. -
Tishara Morehouse poured in a game-high 23 points,
Kierstan Bell made history, and
Seneca Hackley had a season-best game off the bench as the FGCU women's basketball team (11-2, 4-0 ASUN) produced a 92-48 win over Lipscomb (5-7, 2-4) inside Alico Arena on Sunday.
Â
"It was another good win for us," FGCU head coach
Karl Smesko. "I thought we got off to a really good start in the first quarter. We had a number of people who contributed. They backed off TK, and she knocked down a bunch of threes. Bell was excellent as always. We got some really good production off the bench from Seneca and Aaliyah. It was just a good team win."
Â
With the win, FGCU remains tied with Liberty atop the ASUN standings as the only two remaining unbeaten teams in the conference. As of now, the Eagles are scheduled to take next weekend off before going on the road to battle Stetson Feb. 6-7.
Â
Morehouse (Milwaukee, Wis./Rufus King HS/Western Nebraska CC) registered a game-high 23 points on 8-for-17 shooting, which included a 7-for-14 performance from 3-point range. In fact, the junior guard finished just one long distance make shy of tying the program's all-time single-game record, and she did all her damage in 24 minutes over three quarters.
Â
Bell (Alliance, Ohio/Canton McKinley HS/Ohio State), meanwhile, also played just three quarters before finishing with 16 points, 12 rebounds, three steals and two blocks as she tallied her second double-double of the weekend. Overall, the sophomore forward now has eight double-doubles, which ties FGCU's single-season record also held by Sarah Hansen and Whitney Knight, and Bell has only played in 10 games.

She finished 5-for-7 from the field, including 3-for-4 from long distance, as the freshman guard tallied her first career double-digit scoring game. In fact, she is now averaging just over six points per game over her past six contests after tallying just nine total points in her first seven games.
Â
Aaliyah Stanley also came off the bench to record 14 points in 18 minutes on 4-for-8 shooting from 3-point range. In fact, the Eagles made a season-high 18 3-pointers on 40 attempts as six different players made at least one. On top of that, FGCU had just nine turnovers and totaled just 13 in the two-game series sweep of Lipscomb this weekend.
Â
While she didn't score,

Â
With the victory, FGCU produced its 17th all-time winning streak of at least 10 games, including the 13th in the program's Division I era.

In 2016-17, the Green and Blue posted a department-best sixth-place finish in the DI-AAA Learfield Directors' Cup and top-100 showing nationally, ahead of several Power-5 and FBS institutions. In 2018-19, the Eagles had an ASUN and state of Florida best seven teams earn the NCAA's Public Recognition Award for their Academic Progress Rate in their sport.
