THE GREEN AND BLUE
The Eagles enter their final non-conference contest of the season after posting shutout victories in their last four matches.  Their 15 sweeps put them just three shy of tying a program record, with seven matches still remaining in 2016.

FGCU continued to assert dominance as the most efficient offense in the ASUN with a .354 hitting percentage in its match versus Stetson last Saturday. The Eagles defense also gave a strong performance holding the Hatters to a season-low 20 kills and a hitting percentage of just .011.

Sophomore hitter Amanda Carroll (Albuquerque, N.M./Sandia HS) collected her 18th double-digit hitting performance in the Eagles' win over Stetson. The victory also marked her 12th match of the season with a .300 or higher hitting percentage. The rising star continues to lead the ASUN Conference with 4.43 kills per set.

Senior Marlene Moeller (Ludinghausen, Germany/Pascal Gymnasium) and sophomore Maggie Rick (Alpharetta, Ga./Blessed Trinity Catholic HS) also sit atop the conference statistically – Moeller with an ASUN-leading .345 average hitting percentage and Rick with conference-leading 10.74 assists per set.
