ATHENS, Ga. – FGCU senior captain
Elizabeth Means advanced to the consolation quarterfinals after going 2-0 in singles play on Saturday at the University of Georgia's Dan Magill Tennis Complex.
"Elizabeth had a very good day," said FGCU head coach

Means (Washington, D.C./Wiregrass Ranch HS) advanced to the consolation round of 16 after defeating FIU's Andrea Lazaro (6-4, 7-5). Later in the afternoon, she continued to rebound from a first-round defeat on Friday as she took down Georgia Tech's Natasha Prokhnevska (6-3, 6-3). Means advances to play UNF's Quetzali Vazquez on Sunday at 10 a.m.
