It only took FGCU three games to defeat the Tritons of Eckerd College in the second match of the day. The Eagles won 30-14, 30-20, and 30-27. Brooke Youngquist recorded her fifth double-double of the year with 14 kills and 11 digs. Ericka Fonseca added 12 kills while sophmore setter Chandra Ginest had 36 assists. In addition, Whitney Hendry recorded 12 digs. The Eagles are in action again Saturday afternoon as they take on Puerto Rico Rio-Piedras at 12 pm. FGCU will conclude its play in the AASU Pirate Volleyball Classic tomorrow evening with a match against Wingate at 5 pm.
