ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. --- The FGCU women's basketball team remained undefeated (5-0) last night as they defeated Flagler College in St. Augustine, 68-55.

The Eagles jumped out to a 9-3 lead as Jennifer Santana and Noreen McCallum gave Coach Karl Smesko an early spark with Santana hitting two jumpers and McCallum adding one.

Flagler would take the lead at the 11:16 mark (14-13) on a three pointer from Laura Jobe, but Trish Fleming countered with two free throws to take the lead back.

The Eagles would not look back as they increased their lead to 31-22 on a McCallum three pointer. Rebecca Stewart would drill a three pointer with 1:25 left in the first half to give the Eagles a 10-point lead going into the locker room at halftime.
