Eduardo Alfonzo is your Eagle of the Week following three big singles wins this past weekend at the FGCU Spring Invitational against players from Rice University, No. 45 LSU and No. 37 TCU, all from Flight 1 singles. The junior started the weekend strong with his first win over a nationally-ranked opponent as he defeated No.67 Tam Trinh of LSU 6-4, 2-6, 7-5. Then Alfonzo went on to defeat David Warren of Rice 6-4, 6-4. To cap off his spectacular weekend, Alfonzo made a quick work against Trey Daniels from TCU with a no-nonsense 6-2, 6-2 score to start out his spring season with a perfect 3-0 mark.
