Andres Alfonzo picked up a doubles and singles win for the Eagles on Friday against Tennessee Tech. Alfonzo and Javier Fernandez earned a quick win in No. 2 doubles as they defeated Guille Nicolas and Eduardo Mena, 6-2. The Venezuelan also helped the FGCU men’s tennis team with a solid win over Alex Arovin (6-2, 6-1) at No. 2 singles. With these two dominant wins from Alfonzo, the Green and Blue earned their fourth-consecutive victory at home to improve to 5-2 on the season.
