Courtney Winters (MAT, LAT, ATC) joined FGCU in July 2025 as an Athletic Trainer working primarily with Men's Soccer and Women's Tennis. 
Courtney earned her Bachelor of Science degree in 2022 and Master of Athletic Training degree in 2024 from Arkansas State University.  While at Arkansas State, she gained experience with the women's soccer team, the football team, and Valley View High School.  Additionally, she completed an internship with the Little Rock Rangers USL2 soccer team in the 2023 season.   
Prior to FGCU, Courtney was working as the Head Athletic Trainer for South Carolina United FC, through Prisma Health, providing coverage for USL2, USLW, UPSL and ECNL leagues. 
In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors, live music, and staying active.
