Holly Vaughn was the first women's golf head coach at FGCU. She was hired on Nov. 17, 1999 as one of the first four coaches in the college's athletic history along with Dr. Jim Suttie (men's golf), Fred Drilling (women's tennis) and Jeff Bluestein (men's tennis). She coached the program until the fall of 2007.
