Grayson Blalock joined Florida Gulf Coast University Athletics in September 2025 and serves as the Athletics Communications Coordinator.
Prior to FGCU, he served as the Athletics Communications Assistant at East Tennessee State. In that role, he was the primary contact for volleyball, women’s basketball, softball and women’s golf, oversaw all media relations, statistics, game notes and social media for those Buccaneer teams, and assisted with game day operations for all sports.
Prior to ETSU, he served as an Athletics Communications Intern at the University of Oklahoma. In that role, he assisted the full time staff members with updating media guides, game notes, postgame interview monitoring, and more. He was part of the statistics crew for home men’s and women’s basketball games and volunteered at the Big 12 Women’s Basketball Championships in 2023 and 2024. He also assisted with live stats, scoreboard operation, social media and media relations for Oklahoma softball throughout their historic 2023 and 2024 seasons, and volunteered for the NCAA at the 2023 and 2024 Women’s College World Series.
Blalock graduated from Oklahoma in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and minors in Sports Business and Health & Exercise Science.
