Michael Ziegler joined Florida Gulf Coast University Athletics in September 2025 and serves as the Athletics Communications Coordinator.

Prior to FGCU, he served as the Athletics Communications Assistant and Social Media Manager at Nova Southeastern University. In that role, he was the primary contact for men's and women's swimming, while assisting with several other teams. In addition, he served as the Social Media Manager for all of NSU Athletics, creating and posting content for all 17 teams.

Ziegler graduated from Nova Southeastern University in May 2022 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport and Recreation Management. Later, in May 2024, Ziegler earned a Master’s Degree in Sport Revenue Generation from the same university.
