Kaiti Jones enters her third year at FGCU in 2014-15 where she serves as the Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer.   Jones spent the previous two years working with FGCU as a Resident Intern Athletic Trainer.  She has worked with the men’s soccer program as well as working alongside both the volleyball and sand volleyball programs.

Jones holds a master’s degree in health science business administration.  An alumnus of Central Michigan University (CMU), she graduated with honors and a B.S. in athletic training and sports medicine.   As an undergraduate, she worked with a variety sports programs at CMU, including volleyball, wrestling, track and field, and gymnastics.  On top of her work at Central Michigan, Jones also completed a rotation at Beal City High School.  There she worked primarily with football in addition to cheerleading, basketball, cross-country, baseball and volleyball.

Jones spends much of her own time volunteering with Relay for Life, the Red Hacker basketball tournament, Putting for a Cure with the Jimmy V Foundation, the Chicago Fire vs. DC United Soccer Exhibition Match, Mid-American Conference Gymnastics Meet, and the Isabella County Animal Shelter.

Jones is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA), Southeast Athletic Trainers’ Association (SEATA), Athletic Trainers’ Association of Florida (ATAF), and the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
