BEFORE COLLEGE
Baker was most recently named the 2021 Minnesota Junior Boys Player of the Year and was a U.S. Amateur participant. He also was a quarterfinalist for Minnesota Golf Association Players Championship and tied for eighth at the 2021 Minnesota State Junior Championship. He also qualified for the 2021 Minnesota State Open which former Eagles Frankie Capan III and Brady Madsen have competed in along with former NCAA qualifier Van Holmgren. In 2020, Baker was the Minnesota Boys Junior PGA Champion winning by five strokes with a bogey-free 65 in the final round. During the 2021 season, he won 13 of 22 tournaments with a scoring average of 71. He was a four-year all-conference selection for Cloquet High School and won the Lake Superior Conference Tournament each year. He led Cloquet to the Minnesota Class AA State High School Golf Tournament title as a team and as the individual champion.
