FORT MYERS, Fla. - Three Florida Gulf Coast University baseball players made the D1Baseball.com Top 100 Hitting and Pitching Performances list for the 11th weekend of the 2025 college baseball season.

Chris Diaz and Evan Dempsey each had games that were recognized in the top 100 pitching list as compiled by 6-4-3 Charts. Diaz worked seven innings in FGCU's 7-1 win over Queens University of Charlotte Saturday afternoon. The Hialeah native struck out nine batters and allowed just one run on four hits with three walks and nine strikeouts. Dempsey had a strong start in Friday night's opening game of the series. The sophomore also worked seven innings with one run allowed on five hits to go along with six strikeouts.

A power surge from Harrison Povey propelled him into a Top 100 hitting performance of the weekend. The senior went 5-for-13 at the plate with three homers. Friday night's game featured a pair of home runs for Povey, including an inside the park shot. He would also go deep again in Saturday's contest.

The Eagles will be back in action this Friday as they take on the University of North Florida to open an Atlantic Sun Conference three-game series.
