FORT MYERS, Fla. – Florida Gulf Coast men's soccer senior midfielder Salvador Martinez was named the ASUN Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

Martinez scored a pair of goals in FGCU's draw with Jacksonville on Saturday and also found the back of the net against FAU in the nonconference finale on Wednesday.

Impressively, the Tampico, Mexico, native only attempted three shots across the two contests, recording a score and shot on goal for a 1.000 shooting percentage on the week.

The Eagles return home to face North Florida at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18.
