Junior Tabby Tindell (Ocala, Fla./Trinity Catholic High School) found the back of the net for the Eagles in the 33rd minute with an unassisted goal to knot the game at a goal apiece against Jacksonville, where it would stand for the remainder of the game. Tindell beat the defense on the left side and pushed toward the goal where she buried the shot to hit the 100-point mark in her three-year career. Tindell now holds a 17-point lead as the top position in the FGCU record books and leads all former players with 41 career goals.
With goals in the opening and closing minutes of the game, the FGCU women's soccer team earned a 2-1 win over Wake Forest Sunday afternoon in Macon, Ga. The nonconference victory pushed FGCU to a 6-5-2 record on the season. Junior Tabby Tindell (Ocala, Fla./Trinity Catholic High School) gave the Green and Blue a 1-0 lead in the third minute of action with an unassisted goal and helped FGCU maintain a 1-0 lead through halftime. In the final minutes of action, Tindell found the back of the net in the 86th minute to push the team to an exciting victory. A Wake Forest handball in the box sent Tindell to the penalty mark in the 86th minute. Tindell's shot went high and was batted away by the Wake Forest keeper but Tindell crashed the goal and one-timed the rebound to find the back of the net and push FGCU ahead 2-1.Tindell's late goal served as the game winner – her third game-winning goal of the season.
