Reigning Atlantic Sun Player of the Year Tabby Tindell (Ocala, Fla./Trinity Catholic High School) became FGCU’s all-time point leader after FGCU’s 2-0 win over Dayton on Sunday. With a goal in the 34th minute of action, the junior pushed FGCU ahead of Dayton and secured another place at the top of the record books. Tindell then added an assist to lead the Eagles to a 2-0 win over the Flyers at the FGCU Soccer Complex. With the win, the Eagles move to 1-0-1 on the season. Tindell finished with three points on the day after assisting on a Paulina Speckmaier (Miami, Fla./Gulliver Prep) goal in the second half. The junior now tops the program record book with 85 career points in just 43 games.
