The senior co-captain became the first player in the program history to reach a combination of 100 wins after a 4-6, 7-5, 6-1 victory in the No. 1 slot against Liberty. The next day against No. 71 Miami, Vives became the winningest D1 singles player with 63 wins after defeating ITA No. 56 Pitor Lomacki 6-4, 7-5, to surpass former great and current assistant coach Dean Tsamas (62). FGCU is now 5-1 in the spring season, their best start since 2005-06 season (DII).
