For the first time in this season and third time in her career, Shannen Wacker has been named the Atlantic Sun Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon. Wacker netted twice to help the Eagles defeat UNF 3-0 in A-Sun opener last Friday. Two days later, the senior forward became the new FGCU all-time points leader after dishing out two assists at La Salle to fuel the Green and Blue (8-3, 1-0 A-Sun) to a 3-2 overtime victory against the Explorers.
