FGCU freshman Riley Randolph won her second career Atlantic Sun Softball Pitcher of the Week honor, the conference office announced Monday. Randolph pitched two complete games in the first and the final contest against Stetson allowing just one earned run.
The freshman was excellent in the pitching circle for the Eagles, shutting down the Hatters offense. In Sunday’s rubber match, Randolph allowed zero earned runs and tallied five strikeouts, recording 10 on the weekend. The freshman finished the weekend with an ERA of 0.58, leading the FGCU softball team to two victories this past weekend.
