Jake Noll led the FGCU baseball team throughout the weekend against Stetson at Swanson Stadium. On Friday, the redshirt-junior second baseman led the Eagles in the 11-6 win with a career high and program record in hits and doubles as he went 5-for-5 with a trio of extra-base hits to go along with two runs scored and one more driven in on the night.
The Punta Gorda native then led the Green and Blue to its first conference series win of the season with a 4-2 come-from-behind win on Saturday afternoon. Noll provided the go-ahead RBI in the bottom of the eighth and set a new career high in the category as he ripped the first pitch delivered from Stetson reliever Walker Sheller to center field and gave FGCU a 3-2 lead.
In four games last week, Noll went 10-for-18 from the plate with two runs scored and two more driven in as FGCU tallied a pair of conference wins.
