Mei Khuan Yong helped the FGCU women’s golf team to a fourth-place standing at the Georgia State John Kirk Panther Intercollegiate on Tuesday.
Yong led the Eagles with a three-round score of 221 and sixth-place finish among the field of over 80 golfers. The senior carded scores of 74 in the first and second rounds and concluded play with a 73. The strong end to Yong´s scoring at plus-1 gave the Green and Blue the team’s best finish of the year.
The Eagles carded a team score of 303 in the last of three rounds at Eagle's Landing Golf Club and produced a total team score of 905 after carding scores of 297 and 305 in the first two rounds.
