Christian Terrell helped the FGCU men’s basketball team to its First Four victory in the NCAA Tournament against Fairleigh Dickinson on Tuesday. The Eagles won 96-65 with Terrell scoring 14 points and securing nine rebounds. The Green and Blue faced No. 1 seed North Carolina in the next round where the sophomore Terrell scored 15 points but the team lost 83-67 despite trailing 41-40 at halftime. Terrell finished with the best all-around game of his career on the biggest stage with a team-high 15 points along with a career- and game-best seven assists and seven rebounds.

The Eagles are now 3-2 all-time in the NCAA Tournament after becoming eligible in 2011-12. FGCU men’s basketball concluded its fourth-straight year with more than 20 wins and a postseason appearance each time.
