Racquel Fournet led the Eagles to a six-win weekend win against Oakland and Sacred Heart. Fournet earned her first career Atlantic Sun Softball Player of the Week honors and is now leading the offense during FGCU’s eight-game winning streak. The FGCU freshman notched 13 hits, including 11 RBI and three doubles over four days. Fournet’s batting average was nearly .700, recorded a 1.156 slugging percentage with two HR’s and boasted a perfect fielding percentage on defense. After the leadership from the Windermere, Fla. native, the Eagles improved their overall record to 9-5 in season.
