Whitney Knight won her sixth career Atlantic Sun Player of the Week award, second this season, after leading the Eagles to a pair of victories over Jacksonville and NJIT.
Knight scored a game-high 24 points and secured 10 rebounds against Jacksonville while tallying 12 points and six rebounds in the win at NJIT, giving her an average of 18 points and eight rebounds on the week. The senior has a league-best 51 blocks with 40 steals and 33 assists to help FGCU to a 16-1 record since her return and has helped the FGCU women’s basketball team maintain its perfect conference record.
