Women's Golf Heads to Pat Bradley Invite to Close Fall Season

SARASOTA, Fla. – Fresh off of a fourth place finish at the Courtyard Classic last week, the FGCU women’s golf team will wrap up their fall schedule at the 35th Annual FIU Pat Bradley Invitational, Sunday through Tuesday, Oct. 21-23, at the Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club.

The 13-team field includes Bethune-Cookman, Boston College, Bradley, Cincinnati, Daytona State, Delaware, Drake, Florida Atlantic, Florida Gulf Coast, Jacksonville, South Dakota, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and Western Illinois.

Play at the par-72 Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club is slated to get underway Sunday morning and include one round each day.  The 54-hole tournament will also include play Monday beginning at 9:30 a.m. and wrap up Tuesday morning with a 9 a.m. start. 

The Green and Blue will sport the five-person lineup of redshirt junior Briana Carlson (Inverness, Fla./Citrus HS), sophomore Georgia Price (Winchester, England/Fort Myers HS), freshmen Rebecca Van Etten (Trinity, Fla. /JW Mitchell HS), Mei Khuan Yong (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia/S.M.K. Cochrane) and Sara Detlefsen (Eagan, Minn./Minnesota Virtual Academy HS).
