Florida Gulf Coast University has announced the hiring of Cassandra Goodson as the Men's and Women's Cross Country Head Coach. Goodson will fill the vacancy left by Chris Highfield, who served as head coach until he resigned in July.
6/4/2008 Chris Highfield Resigns Dual Posts With FGCU Programs
FGCU Director of Athletics, Carl McAloose has announced that Chris Highfield, who served the past six seasons as Assistant Men's Basketball Coach and Head Men's and Women's Cross Country Coach has resigned his dual posts to pursue other professional opportunities. Highfield, who has been at FGCU for the last seven years, will remain at FGCU until July 1.
