FORT MYERS, Fla. - The FGCU women’s basketball team received 16 votes to rank No. 29 in this week's USA Today/ESPN Top 25 Coaches’ Poll that was released on Tuesday, Feb. 7.

This marks 14th time in program history that the Eagles have earned votes in the national poll. FGCU, who leads the nation in three-pointers made per game (11.0), picked up 14 votes to rank No. 30 in last week’s poll.

In their last outing, redshirt-sophomore Sarah Hansen (McKean, Pa./General McLane HS) scored a game-high 23 points as the FGCU women's basketball team (21-2, 13-0 A-Sun) defeated Jacksonville, 70-60, to pick up their 13th consecutive victory. The win gave FGCU the eighth 21-win season in program history.

The Green and Blue, who are 59-8 all-time in the month of February, will now return home to host their final three home games of the season. FGCU will take on Lipscomb (Feb. 9) and Belmont (Feb. 11), before facing Stetson on ‘Senior Day’ (Feb. 18).
