Junior: Earned Second Team All-Atlantic Sun honors...Hit .311 with a team-leading nine home runs, which ranked sixth in the conference...Also ranked seventh in the A-Sun with 12 doubles...Finished in the top three in the conference with a .615 slugging percentage (third), a .475 on-base percentage (second), and 40 walks (first)...Ranked second on the team with 31 RBI and tied for third on the team with 31 runs scored.

Sophomore: Named to the Louisville Slugger/NFCA South All-Region First Team...Earned A-Sun All-Academic honors...One of four Eagles named All-Atlantic Sun First Team...Hit .437 with 10 home runs, 50 RBI, and a .770 slugging percentage...Also had 11 doubles, 41 runs scored, 37 walks, 104 total bases, 59 hits, and a .563 on-base percentage...Ranked in the top 10 in the A-Sun in all of the aforementioned statistical categories.

Freshman: Named to the A-Sun All-Freshman Team...Hit .298 and saw action in 62 games, making 61 starts...Hit three triples and 10 doubles, while driving in 13 runs...Second on the team with 41 walks.

High School: Attended Gulf Coast High School in Naples, Fla...Played for Coach Phil Depuy and was team captain…Earned all-area player, all conference, and First Team All-State…Also was named Offensive Player of the Year in 2007.

Personal: Born in Greenville, Ohio…Daughter of Tim Platt and Nancy Burns…Majoring in Biology…Lists snowboarding/Winter Olympics as her favorite sport(s) to watch…Lists biggest accomplishment as having the opportunity to play D1 softball and go to college…Chose FGCU because she liked the size and also liked the softball program, the coaches, and the team are a lot of fun.
