Finished her career by earning the ASUN’s Defensive Player of the Year honor, becoming the fifth Eagle to earn the honor and the first since 2015 … Parks was also honored by the conference, earning First Team All-ASUN, All-Tournament Team and All-Academic honors … In addition, Parks was named Second Team All-Southeast Region by the United Soccer Coaches Association and First Team All-District IV by CoSIDA … Parks anchored the FGCU backline and helped the Eagles post one of the best season’s in program history, holding opponents to 14 goals for a 0.72 goals against average … FGCU posted 11 shutouts this season, good for second-most in program history … Parks offensive impact was felt during the home-opener, assisting on the winner against Kent State (Sept. 1) … She later assisted on Varin Ness’ winner in the ASUN Championship against Lipscomb (Nov. 5) … Parks missed just 23 minutes this season, finishing the year with 1723 minutes played … With her 19 starts this season, Parks finished her career with 84 appearances, tied for most in program history.

Parks took on a new role in 2014 and moved to defense after spending her freshman campaign in the midfield. The Wildwood, Mo. native handed out a career-high four assists from the back line and played 1886 minutes, starting all 21 matches for the Green and Blue. Her first helper of the season came at Miami when she fed Tindell for the eventual game-winning goal. For her efforts in that match, Parks earned her first A-Sun Defensive Player of the Week award. She later added two assists against Wofford and her fourth came against La Salle.

Appeared in all 20 FGCU games in 2013 off the bench ... would add one goal and three assists to the highest scoring season in program history ... her first point game in the form of an assist in a 5-0 win over Albany (Aug. 25) ... scored the first goal of her career in a 7-0 win over USC Upstate (Oct. 13) ... added an assist in a 3-1 win at Mercer (Oct. 18).
