No. 6 Men's Tennis Ready For First-Ever A-Sun Tournament Against No. 3 Stetson

After earning a comeback 4-3 victory against Belmont last weekend, the sixth-seeded FGCU men’s tennis team is looking to earn its first-ever Atlantic Sun Tournament win on Friday, April 20 in a quarterfinal match against the third-seeded Stetson at 11 a.m. at the Buddy Hartsell Courts in Johnson City, Tenn.

The FGCU men's tennis team is looking to make history this weekend with a pair of Atlantic Sun Conference matches in Nashville against Lipscomb and Belmont. The Eagles play the Bison on Friday, April 13 at the Huston-Marsh-Griffith Tennis Center at 2 p.m. and finish against the Bruins on Saturday, April 14 at the Centennial Sportsplex at 9 a.m.

Senior Matthew Rock won a tight match in the third set super tiebreaker, 10-7 but the FGCU men's tennis team fell just short on Senior Day against Stetson, 5-2 on Saturday at the FGCU Tennis Complex.
