Men's Soccer Set to Host Final Home Game of the Season

FORT MYERS, Fla. - The FGCU men's soccer team will host its final home game of the inaugural season when it hosts the Bison of Howard University on Sunday, Nov. 4 at 12 p.m.

Scouting Howard: In it’s last game on Oct. 27, the Howard men's soccer team surrendered one goal in each half and fell to NJIT, 2-0, in an Atlantic Soccer Conference (ASC) match at Greene Stadium.
Erik Magnusson scored the first goal for NJIT (3-10-1, 2-2-0 ASC) at 23:09 on an assist from Patrick O'Driscoll. Kevin Blanco made it 2-0 for the Highlanders after sending one to the back of the net five minutes into the second half. Howard (3-5-5, 1-1-1 ASC) led in shots, 14-19, and forced NJIT goalkeeper Josh Osit to make eight saves, but managed only a few strong scoring opportunities.
