DUNK CITY, Fla. – Newly appointed FGCU head coach Joe Dooley unveiled a trio of camp dates on Tuesday, highlighted by the FGCU Team Camp on June 14-16 and pair of individual camps at the beginning and end of summer.

All three camps will be held on campus at Alico Area, home of Dunk City and the first-ever No. 15 seed in NCAA Tournament history to advance to the Sweet 16.

The first Individual Camp will be held from June 10-13 and the second from August 5-7. Both camps are open to boys in grades 3-12 will focus on individual improvement, which was a staple at Dooley’s most recent coaching stint at Kansas where the program had 14 players drafted into the NBA over his 10 years. Campers will learn individual skill programs that college and NBA players follow to improve their overall game.

The June 10-13 camp is $200 per camper, while the August 5-7 dates are $150 per camper. For more information on the individual camps contact Joey Cantens at 239-590-7067 or jcantens@fgcu.edu.

The FGCU Team Camp is designed for high school teams to compete and prepare for their upcoming seasons. Each team will play a five-game schedule on Friday and Saturday and then will play a single elimination tournament on Sunday to determine the camp champions. Teams will be divided into three leagues: Large Varsity, Small Varsity and Junior Varsity. The ultra-competitive camp fielded 54 teams last summer, including five that made the Florida State Final Four, and is expected to increase in size.

Please contact Michael Fly at 859-229-8809 or mfly@fgcu.edu for more information and local hotel rates. The cost per team is $50 per player.
