Eagles Fall to Mercer in Macon

MACON, Ga. - Three Eagles scored in double figures and Reed Baker finished with a team-high 19 points as the Bears of Mercer defeated the Eagles 88-63 Friday night.

With the win Mercer improves to 9-8 overall and 3-3 in conference, while the Eagles fall to 8-11 on the season and 4-4 in the A-Sun.

Baker (Naples, Fla.) led the Eagles with 19 points on 8-of-19 shooting. Kyle Marks (West Palm Beach, Fla.) shot 6-of-13 from the field to finish with 16 points. Marks also added eight boards and four blocks. Delvin Franklin (Houston, Tex.) chipped in with 12 points and played a career-high 40 minutes.

The next game for the Eagles is Sunday, January 18 when they face Kennesaw State. Tip-off for the contest is set for 3 p.m.
