Eagles Head North to Face Butler
FORT MYERS, Fla. - Six days after knocking off Johnson & Wales in their last outting, the Eagles (4-6) return to action tomorrow afternoon when they face the Butler Bulldogs (8-1) at Hinkle Fieldhouse. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m.

Butler vs. Florida Gulf Coast Notes
•Butler won last year’s game in Fort Myers, Fla., 78-66. The Bulldogs battled back from a ninepoint deficit in the first half to tie the game at 33-33 at halftime. Butler then grabbed the lead for good at 39-37 on a three-point field goal by Julian Betko with 18:51 remaining.
•The Bulldogs held on to last year’s win at Florida Gulf Coast behind near-perfect free throw shooting in the second half. Butler connected on 18 of 19 free throw attempts in the final 20 minutes, including 13 straight in the final 5:06. The Bulldogs wound up hitting 26 of 28 (.929) free throw attempts for the game.
•Guard A. J. Graves led four Butler players in double-figures with 17 points in last year’s victory at Florida Gulf Coast. Guard Mike Green finished with 16 points, while guard Julian Betko and forward Matt Howard each added 12. Only Howard returns this season.
•Casey Wohlleb scored 24 points to lead the Eagles in last year’s game with Butler. Delvin Franklin, who returns this season, added 12 points.
•Florida Gulf Coast is visiting Hinkle Fieldhouse for the second time. Butler captured the first meeting in Indianapolis, 79-65, in February of 2007. Mike Green led the Bulldogs in that encounter with 24 points, while A. J. Graves added 22.
•Florida Gulf Coast Dave Balza formerly served as head coach at Saint Joseph’s College in Indiana, 1998-2001. He also served as an assistant coach at Cleveland State for five seasons, 1991-96, during which time he faced the Bulldogs three times.
