Press/Photo Credentials
When requesting credentials for the 2022-23 season, we urge you to do so at least 24-48 hours in advance. Media regularly assigned to cover FGCU and the visiting school will receive top priority. Credentials can be picked up from the Alico Arena will-call window Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and one hour before ticketed events. Credentials can also be picked up from the Athletics Communications office by special request.
NCAA policy establishes that only photographers on assignment will be afforded credentials. Designated areas for photographers have been marked on each baseline for basketball, and all photographers must remain within the designated areas. Please see a member of the Athletics Communication Staff regarding photo restrictions for events other than basketball.
Credentials For Postseason Events
Credentials for postseason events are issued separately from regular-season credentials. Procedures vary by sport and will be posted on this page once available.
Basketball Press Row Seating
Due to current space limitations in Alico Arena, we may not be able to accommodate photographers and/or television crews at press row. Work areas have been designated in the media room for photographers, reporters, and television crews.
Media Parking
Reserved parking for members of the working media covering FGCU events is available with advance notice. When requesting media parking permits, we urge you to do so at least 48 hours in advance by contacting Katie Cribbs kcribbs@fgcu.edu and AthleticsComm@fgcu.edu.
Live Remotes
Due to current space and parking limitations within the Athletic Complex, we request notice at least 24-48 hours in advance for live remotes from all FGCU Athletics events and facilities. We will gladly accommodate all reasonable requests whenever possible. Please contact Katie Cribbs kcribbs@fgcu.edu so we can facilitate your request and issue required media credentials and parking permits.
E-mail Service
Every press release that is distributed by FGCU Athletics is available via e-mail. This includes release copy, and pdf-formatted game notes. To be added to the distribution list, please send an e-mail request to the appropriate contact listed above.
To avoid having releases sent to your spam folder please add noreply@collegiateathleticnews.com to your address book.
Player Interviews
All player interviews must be scheduled through the Athletics Communications Department. In making interview requests, we ask for at least 24 hours notice. Advance notice will help ensure that your request will be handled efficiently. Players may not be interviewed on game day once they enter the locker room or athletic training room.
Post-Event Interview Policy
Head coaches and select players will be available for post-game interviews after a 10-minute "cooling off" period as prescribed by the NCAA.
All home basketball games will be followed by a post-game press conference with the head coach and select home players, with visiting-team coaches and players upon request. The postgame press conference will take place in our media room, and will begin no later than 15 minutes following the completion of each home game. We request that you limit all game-day interviews to this press conference unless prior arrangements have been made with our communications staff.

In-Season Coaches Interview Policy
In-person interviews with the head coach or staff can be arranged through the Athletics Communications Department. The head coach and staff may be reached for telephone interviews from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday by emailing the appropriate sport contact above.
Practice Coverage
Most practice sessions are open to media coverage. Please contact the Athletics Communications Office, at least 24 hours in advance, if you are planning to attend a practice.
