FGCU Baseball Remains No. 24 in Perfect Game Top 25

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Coming off its third-straight Atlantic Sun Conference series victory of the season last weekend at Kennesaw State, the FGCU baseball team remained No. 24 in the weekly release of the Perfect Game Top 25 ranks.

The Eagles maintained the No. 24 ranking by the outlet from a week again, while also landing at No. 29 in the newest edition of the Collegiate Baseball Top 30 and No. 30 by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA). Additionally, the Green and Blue moved up one spot to No. 10 in the College Baseball Daily Mid-Major Top 25 and were listed among others receiving votes in the USA Today Top 25.

According to the RPI ratings, the Eagles are listed in the top 30 by both WarrenNolan.com (29th) and Boyd’s World (30th).

FGCU prepares for a Wednesday night meeting with FAU at Swanson Stadium, holding a 20-8 (6-3 A-Sun) overall record following the series win at KSU (L 6-1, W 5-3, W 4-1). The Owls enter the contest as the top team in Sun Belt Conference standings with a 21-11 (8-4 Sun Belt) record.
